Please tell us what your trying to do so we can better advise you. And then blindly provisioned the guest OS with no regard to what the impact of the host OS would be. Why are you using VMWare anyways? It seems like you didn't do a lot of research about how it works, and what the system requirements are. I think what bill is trying to get at here, is that you may be over your head.
